Local schools let down by this Government

Schools in this area are facing a choice between closing early or making teachers redundant due to cuts. Teachers and Heads are being put in an unfair and impossible position by cuts from the Conservative Government and voted through by our own MP.

Jim Wade's Memorial Bench

I was so proud to see the memorial bench for Jim Wade unveiled at Corby train station this morning. 

Jim was a passionate campaigner and we owe so much to him, including our train station which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month.

International Worker’s Memorial Day 2019

Today is International Worker’s Memorial Day. We came together yesterday at the Corby Cube to commemorate those killed and injured in the workplace. I was staggered to hear that each year more people die in the workplace than in war. The theme for this year is ‘Dangerous Substances - get them out of the workplace’.
