90% of schools here are being cut
Posted on 5th Dec 2019 in Campaigning, News
Schools in this constituency have lost £7m, that is £400 per pupil.
These cuts mean overworked teachers, fewer teaching assistants, larger class sizes and damage to our children’s future.
I believe every child should have a good education like the one I received under the last Labour Government. I want that for young people growing up today.
90% of schools here are being cut, here’s just a small sample of how that’s hitting them:
🫠Windmill Primary School 185k
🫠Manor School £454k
🫠Kingswood Secondary Academy £437k
🫠Huxlow Science Collage £359k
🫠Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Primary School £386k
🫠Kings Cliffe Endowed Primary School £100k
My old schools:
ðŸ«Woodnewton £134k
🫠Brooke Weston £716k
